The City of Macclenny Utilities Department includes water, sewer, and garbage services.  We also provide water utility services for the Macclenny II area.

The St. Johns River Water Management District has ruled year-round that outdoor irrigation is only allowed before 10 a.m. or after 4 p.m. only!

Your garbage will be picked up twice weekly on the following schedule:
South of Macclenny Ave. (Hwy. 90) Mondays and Thursdays
North of Macclenny Ave. (Hwy. 90) Tuesdays and Fridays

Only metal or plastic garbage receptacles are accepted and must not exceed 30 gallons in size!

The City also provides trash hauling on a periodic basis.  Trash is classified as normal yard debris such as leaves and limbs.  Limbs shall be no greater than 4 feet in length and no greater than 5 inches in diameter, and must be tied securely in bundles weighing not more than 25 pounds.  All other materials must be disposed of by the customer at the New River landfill located 10 miles South on SR 121.
